In 1936 George Palmer opened his Used Car Yard with full workshop repairs and service in Alexander Street Hamilton. In 1950 George moved to his present site in Ulster Street.
The late George Palmer took a very active role in the company up to his retirement in 1969 and passed away in 1994. The company continues under the guidance of George's son, Jim Palmer, who may be best known for his Motor Racing feats in the 1960s. Over the years Geo Palmer Motors Ltd have managed the Suzuki and Hyundai vehicle franchises, and now focus on the sale of Quality Used Vehicles at Quality Pricing.
